THE POET OF IMAGE BY MICHELE BRUCCHERI

Adicionar legenda

Amano la vita proprio come me”.

Raccagni e i suoi tratti contorti, Morandi.

Quante opere hai realizzato?

“Ahahah!

Hanno scritto in molti: Salvatore Fiume, Sebastiano Grasso, Carlos Gomes de Carvalho, Antonio Santoro, Francesco Chiari, Marisa Batalha, Barbara Sanaldi, Umberto Zaccaria, Ângela Fini, Matteo Giambattista, Risoleta Cordula, Daniele Biancardi, Valerio Grimaldi, Michele De Palo, Aline Figueiredo, Humberto Espindola, Luis Fernando…”

. E poi?

In quali gallerie e in quali cataloghi?

Molte opere sono state vendute a privati nelle grandi personali fatte finora.

“Ho presentato mostre in Brasile, Germania, Spagna, Egitto… E poi, in Italia, a Padova, Novara, Carimate, Lecce, Milano, Carpi, Bologna… L’elenco sarebbe molto lungo”. So che hai ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti e prestigiosi premi.

Ti riconosci in quet’espressione?

MATOART, THE POET OF IMAGE Interview Michael Bruccheri Italian-Brazilian painter oestrus (real name Maria Pia Tedesco) admits that "ART is sacred and must be respected," " An artist who will not throng the scene, but dominates. And 'volcanic, solar, incurably optimistic. Matòart, pseudonym of Maria Pia Tedesco, from Puglia, is a painter from innate talent. In her paintings beats the "poetry". Her painting is, undoubtedly, the eloquence of her soul. Intelligent woman, humorous, sweet and rare sensibility possesses an iron will. A citizen of the world, likes to call herself. As a young woman he moved to Milan where she studied at the Brera Academy High School. Then the fate of the port in Brazil, where she lives and lives for a quarter of a century. Finished her studies at the Academy A Penteado . Her prolific and imaginative creative activity is of great interest. Her art is refined and beautiful painting, full of pathos and delicate poetry. "The Voice of Nyssa" has exclusively interviewed. How and when did your passion for painting? "Even as a little girl, my mother was helping me to see the first drawing scribbles. Accompanying my hands on the sheet. And I was beginning to love that moment, as a seamstress high seam, my mother was a design decision then also very sensitive to art. She listened to opera in her studio with my father, who was also a tailor and lived all happy. " What was your training? "It 'was hard as all the things you believe in and want at any cost. I was 14 years with a couple of years at my uncle the priest, with his paternal grandmother, was a good atmosphere and I remember he had a beautiful garden full of roses, felt lonely and decided to go to them. He was a pastor in a small town in Abruzzo. A cultured and sensitive man. He gave me the impetus to look for as a painting, teaching me the basics and the first steps. He painted beautiful things and I remained enchanted, in addition to the cultural baggage he had. Teacher in a high school in Lancaster, he taught art history and Italian. He was very loved. " Your nickname is Matòart. What is the meaning of the name of art? "It 'came about by chance. Two dealers in a major exhibition at the Pio Castle in Carpi 16 years ago were fighting a lithograph by Miro. I in those days I was deciding how to baptize my paintings, I did not write a name so long. I am a girl concise. They had not even looked at my work and I was sad, so I stepped in, saying: 'Let the dead in peace and watch live!' I immediately took a liking to buying all my works on display at the stand in the blink of an eye. I wanted to scream with joy, laugh, cry, jump ... Then there was a reason, were the ends of my name and surname air-pi + M + A + T + O edesc, but something was missing. An emphasis would be ideal, the most impressive and if you are an anagram of all, it is also love you. So was this: why is this Matòart I do all the time! The Brazilian was happy thinking that since I joined the Matogrosso have always recognized as Mato. Then I met my needs and also those of Matogrossensi, happy to host me. " An important and very thick, for you have had such Vittorio Sgarbi and Salvatore Fiume. And 'it? "Yes, and I admit, Professor Vittorio Sgarbi is a fundamentally human person as well as a genius in his work as a critic. I was a little 'massacred at first, but eventually his advice have been vital to everything that I have produced later. Let's say he opened my eyes to a broader and less tied to the usual patterns fashionistas. He put me in touch with the great Saviour and outgoing with Studio and home in Rijeka Canzo (Como). A Sicilian noble-minded Doc has taken to heart my desire to find a way out. I had just returned to Italy for family issues and I was very sad. With all his passion of an artist is left enchanted by my figurative paintings and having spent a good time, I wanted to present in Semegizia catalogs in 3000 sponsored by an industry of Como: 28 works in oil giant made, quartz, sand , resin varies, where even the critic of art involved in the page of the Corriere della Sera, Sebastian Grasso, has done a wonderful article. In that show I sold everything, even my pieces went to the politicians in Rome. Work has taken Mr Massari after seeing his own in the Corriere della Sera, sending his secretary . " Your business is painting be framed in a style? What, if any, reference your style? "My style is just maton I think (laughs), called 'spatialism' by Michele De Palo and Grimaldi 'informal naturalism'. I am one that all must feel, as a new technique, but what I would always try to create a contrast between light and dark, put the light where there is not. I have a broad vision of what art is but also what drives me to create in that moment. I have a faith and an almost mystical view of life, are not taken to matter at all, much less the great magnificence, I love everything that is minimalist. I eat good read and also listen a lot of music, I appreciate life and I thank every day that gives me the opportunity to see a new sun is born again. " From Puglia, where you were born, you first moved to Milan and then , finally, in Brazil. How do you remember these stages of life and the artistic-professional? "More than the professional roots are those that you feel the snatch. I remember when I arrived at Milan's central station smoke, cloudy and with a strong smell of smog, how to breathe from an exhaust pipe, I had almost a chok Heidi how to bring its green hills in a jungle metropolis. Everything made me feel bad, at least they were the eyes of a child who perceived this! Now analyze the eyes with large and I feel the same lethargy and nightmares (laughs again). Yes, Milan is a great city that has given the chance to many artists and even those who do not was to create a decent future. But obviously to me that I could care less! I wanted to feel good about myself and create a healthy and colorful future for my children, keep them in contact with nature. I wanted to breathe and not die as a gas chamber! I live with just about everything I do and I appreciate it even more. And my life is the same dignity. " What do you like most about Brazil and vice versa, what do you like? " I like everything sincerely. You will always find a smile friend. They have an optimistic view of life, are happy by nature, I think this climate is really bright, which makes any happiness. The sun is omnipresent, their smile will win immediately. And people honest. They have great faith, can not be cut even if a storm has destroyed the house. Among the many people find humble people of this kind, honest, you would like to embrace all its own. Now, in cities, as we know, there is more violence, as in Rio and Sao Paulo. But can you tell me where there's peace at this time? All the peoples of the earth are turned increasingly suffer from nervous disorders, depression. The increase suicidal people! I believe that Brazil is a bit 'immune to this! They love life just like me. " Who are your favorite artists and why? " I was in front of paintings by Van Gogh in Amsterdam and I had a pleasant sensation, it seemed almost hear the creaking of his Swallows and blackbirds in its fields. I liked Gustav Klimt in his tender kiss. I love all the Impressionists: Renoir, Monet, Cezanne, even the great surrealists such as Dali, even the dark and at times mysterious Widow is congenial to me. I find Pollock furious: I love it! I appreciate his contemporaries by Scanavino, Balla, Santomaso, Sironi, Morlotti, Tozzi, Castellani, Fontana (but old period), Tano Festa, Ugo Nespolo known exhibition in Padua, Schifano, Arman Fernandez and his great creativity. Raccagni and his features contorted, Morandi. I love the poetic figure Migneco, this always thanks to Sicily, I knew well Xante Battaglia in his studio in Milan and as a professor at the Brera, Terruso, lovable person, with his widow, does not absolve the design of Guttuso among other Capricorn like me. I also love pop art: it is brilliant and very expressive. " How many works have made? "Hahaha! This is beautiful! I think 1500 works scattered around the earth! I have a trunk full of pictures that my son David told me that I help with the scanner to put them all on file and make the cd. I do not have much patience nor time, but I think definitely it will sooner or later .... " Who wrote reviews for Matòart? "They wrote in many Salvatore Fiume, Sebastian Grasso, Carlos Gomes de Carvalho, Antonio Santoro, Francesco Chiari Marisa Batalha, Barbara Sanaldi, Umberto Zachary, Angela Fine, Matthew Giambattista Risoleta Cordula, Daniel Biancardi, Valerio Grimaldi, Michael De Palo, Aline Figueiredo, Humberto Espindola, Luis Fernando .... " And then? "Several newspapers have written sincerely and also critical as Aline Figueiredo Matogrosso that defines my painting uterine (laughs). It makes me laugh, because what it says Valerio Grimaldi in the Amazon, a critic of Bologna and Professor Francesco Chiari in Milan do not speak absolutely of the uterus. It all depends on how he sees the work each of them, but to a certain point counts. The artist must create without worry or to please the critic. This I have learned over time. You have to be spontaneous creation. Art is not a pret a porter you wear every day, or you need to adapt both to fill a wall like a poster, or to combine with the living room couch, what stands out and worthless. Art should convey an emotion, you must observe in order to understand also why it is born. There is not even the famous 'Stendhal Syndrome'. I often found myself involved to tears in front of the Pieta Rondanini last work suffered from the hands of a tired now 91enne Michelangelo and Mantegna's Dead Christ, to be excited at all! For me, art is sacred and must be respected, to try to understand it and treasure it, keep it as a guard a child, love it. " With regard to your artistic work, where are your works? In such as catalogs and galleries? "The first real catalog is Semegizia, for example, the catalog Isis all 2500 copies on green emerald, sponsored by Invernizzi. Here I've just found, I went through everything believe me! Latino Heat then comes the Amazon, and finally, let us say the most important in terms of beauty and presence, although it has also made here in Brazil of catalogs, but less important, I should photograph them and search them all, many are from my mother in Milan. For some years I sold the works to the Executive Art Gallery, which also has galleries in England ... My greatest satisfaction was to see my work announced in sales, among the great masters, such as Fontana, De Chirico, Arman Fernandez and then was Mato suffered. Many works have been sold in large private personal to date. I have three architects who take the works for their work, I can not complain! You can meet various embassies in the works: Brazil, Egypt, Cultural Foundations here in Brazil, home to three governors of important works, in large governmental institutions Matogrosso of my work all have a Humane Society, Masonic Homes of Milan and Pavia, and even here in Brazil , in the Museum in Alexandria, I left a beautiful Isis, Mighty Fortress in the Starry. Even the work of the catalog has remained there, in the Pinacoteca of the Capuchins is the Shepherd of Souls, a Padre Pio with quartz and oil on canvas. At the Civic Centre in Milan, a series of important works are eternally exposed to and acquired from the Hotel Moran, on the outskirts of Milan, (Lorenteggio) a five star hotel that has hosted great personalities. " Where have you opened your solo and group exhibitions? "I gave exhibitions in Brazil, Germany, Spain, Egypt ... And then, in Italy, to Padua, Novara, Carimate, Lecce, Milan, Carpi, Bologna ... The list is very long." I know you have received numerous prestigious awards and awards. What do you feel more emotional attachment? "Everybody has a value and meaning, but I think it's like first love was to 83, with great characters of the show, an award given to the culture and also to journalism, I was being rewarded by the then Governor of Matogrosso Dr. Julio Campos and called on the stage, trembling and with beating heart told me that I was chosen as Artist Revelation of the year. After inaugurating a beautiful exhibition that had been successful and appreciated var. The Globo TV took up everything and I wanted to evaporate ... with my beautiful bronze statuette 30 cm high for me was my Oscar! Imagine, my happiness was through the roof. " George Bernard Shaw claimed that "using the works of art to look at his soul." This expression you fit? "Totally and fully at all stages I have always given my warmth and color, my light, my faith. My days, my nights, my love, my passion, my dreams. " A zoom on your privacy. How Mato, temperamentally? "Allegra, but also serious and inspires a certain respect, with a ready wit, but also highly ironic, and damn! Since early morning, jump out of bed like a cricket, fast metabolism, you can call me at night and I'll answer as if in broad daylight, a ready answer even if they were wide awake at dawn and the three are in full sleep! With my beautiful children, two boys, I have a relationship as brothers, there is a lot of complicity, make me a father since I lost my husband to cancer 5 years ago. They are proud of me especially when they complimented her mother young and fit, and that which is good! They would like to see me happy and settled down, but for now I do not think so! They are always an activist, I can not stand stupid people and hypochondriacs unfair and even people. I keep them away for my welfare. " What books do you read? "I read all the Latin authors, from Coelho Garcia Marquez, some Italian and some foreigners. Many art books and many poets: from Neruda to many others. Lately I've been doing a hoard of books Spirita, affascinanao I liked and was, after all it is behaving well, opening to life and not do harm to others, is a philosophy that I love a lot. This doctrine says that those who are born with a cross is because in the previous life was not a saint, now I do not want to believe in everything that he says Allan Kardec or Chico Xavier is the absolute truth, but there is a part true I have had confirmation! Then over time I can tell you. " What music do you listen? "I love classical music, but what more is listening to good jazz! When I listen to melancholy Chopin, Beethoven, Morricone, Massenet and Schubert. When I listen to Mozart or a good euphoric blues. When I am angry a rock, I do not miss anything, sometimes even the works of Puccini, Verdi, Mascagni. " What are your next art projects? "Now I'm preparing a series of works together with the music in general but mostly jazz I hope as promised by my friend Brian Oneal, California jazz musician, who can arrange an exhibition

Finally, being close to Holy Christmas, what message do you deliver to our readers? "My Christmas message? It is to look around us that there is so much misery of the mind. Just because we're so close to Christmas doesn't mean we should suddenly become kind and generous. No, we have to embrace this way of seeing and feeling Christmas all year round. Sharing some of our joys with those who don't even have a placemat or gifts under their Christmas tree. Let’s not be selfish. Let's not be too regular in everything we do! The true spirit of Christmas must be the spirit of brotherhood, true love is given without waiting for a return. Merry Christmas to all, you Michèle and your family. You are a lovely person and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your welcome.
